Québec Maple Syrup Producers Launches New “Producer-Centric” Website

Longueuil, November 5, 2020 – Québec Maple Syrup Producers (QMSP) went live with a brand-new corporate website this week. The complete overhaul newly positions the organization by raising the profile of its members: the women and men who produce most of the world’s supply of maple syrup. Its content is restructured, navigation more intuitive, and the aesthetic approach reinforces a strong brand image. The URL,, is the acronym for Producteurs et productrices acéricoles du Québec.

Québec maple producers are the heart and soul of QMSP and, accordingly, the focus of the revamped website. Visitors can learn about the organization’s structure but, more importantly, the work and daily activities that go into the production of our “liquid gold.” From a design point of view, the visuals support a new corporate image, in line with that of Érable du Québec, that puts producers to the forefront with beautiful new photos taken throughout the seasons. The “Profiles of Dedication” section features the inspiring stories of the committed regional directors and delegates who devote extra energy to the collective advancement of Québec maple production.

“This is the culmination of an entire year’s work,” declared QMSP Director of Communications Hélène Normandin. “With our corporate site almost five years old, it was clear that our needs had naturally evolved. Our communications team made it a priority for 2020. We wanted a site that would reflect our leadership in the maple industry and showcase our members in the beauty of their work environment. We’re very proud of how it turned out!”

The site is the organization’s primary communications and information vehicle. Looking ahead to 2021, the communications department’s plans include more newsletters, videos, and online publications than ever to keep maple producers up to date, in a dynamic and proactive manner, with activities and topics of interest to them.

Though a sizable and important project, it was carried out by a small, young web development agency. Tokilab impressed us with a personalized, responsive approach that it maintained throughout the job. Coming off successful mandates for 3 fois par jour, Josée di Stasio, and Elle Québec & Canada, Tokilab demonstrated considerable skill and expertise in delivering our new, corporate website.
